Yesterday after updating a plugin I noticed things were acting odd. It turned out that the plugin had messed up the Javascript (technical: it was un-commenting commented out lines, and including experimental files which broke things).
This created a variety of random problems, which might still persist due to the way things are cached. If you are still having problems such as "unspecified error" or buttons not working, then try clearing your cache. Instructions here:

If you still have problems (and it's possible there are other unrelated Javascript problems, as I use a lot of plugins), you might be able to provide useful info by looking in the "console". See Step 3 here:
