Catalytic converters and the rise of rare metals and other elements traces in soils

Given that Catalytic converters have been about for some 30 years could it be that the claimed rise of heavy metals soil traces may be attributed to them. I have often wondered.

The researchers found high concentrations of platinum, palladium, rhodium and osmium in air over the Boston metropolitan area. Although these particles — known as platinum group elements — are not yet considered a serious health risk, evidence suggests they potentially could pose a future danger as worldwide car sales increase from an estimated 50 million in 2000 to more than 140 million in 2050

Which claimed rise exactly are you referring to?

There's no need to posit an explanation for a rise that does not exist.

ops sorry still need practice in posting 1st the claims and then the counter

Ok the CT mob seem to believe that there's change in soils chemistry due eg eg http://umc-unofficiallaymanopenforum.ning.com/forum/topics/changing-soils-across-america

as shown many of these as false faked or poor testing practice results

So could one causal link be Catalytic converters they harbor much rare and odd elements

This apart from the tons of other stuff we burn and throw in to the air daily living in western worlds I do find it amazin that the CT chaps can look to the skys & claim a hidden mob are up there spraying stuff when from cars and factory s pours out smog

Can you post the actual claim though? Not just a link. What are they claiming, where, and how much?

But catalytic converters turn toxic substances into less harmless ones don't they, or am I missing something?

I don't know of any chemtrail conspiracists showing any documented increases of anything in soil. Lots of talk, no documents.

No I can not. The claims are just claims and I can find no hard evidence that has been tabled. I am just wondering if the causal link of high readings in any mentioned CT field soil test such as Kristen Meghan often speaks about are as suspected just back ground pollution and that by products of Catalytic converters maybe a component of the suggested heavy metal readings,, that again I can not find any data to test cite or repeat.

This idea arose from my reading the thread on Kristen Meghan who chimed in to speak about soil tests she had done eg heavy metals and claims she was making. But from the thread pages I read, no data was given back after many request.

Yes agree just exploring what maybe is a reason

From what I read yes designed to be a benefit thou by products a maybe not

Kristen would have been testing for Aluminum, Barium, and Strontium, because she thinks that's what's in chemtrails.
