The creepiest thing about this guy is that the 3 links i clicked on with his picture- sporting titles like "10 most bizarre sea creatures", -don't feature him at all. They actually show REAL sea creatures.

So basically this viral guy is being used as click bait.

I guess this guy (real), isnt creepy enough?

but 'saber-tooth guy' above is an artwork by Juan Cabana. I'm hoping 'Davey Jones' is available for sale on ebay or something!

I think a lot of click bait links never actually include the picture referenced in the thumbnail or ad at all. Sabre tooth guy is a good idea for next years Halloween though!

Sometimes they don't even include the implied topic. With a Michigan IP address I get a lot of ones about "Insane catastrophic claims discounts they don't want you to know about" and other car insurance tricks*. I've never once actually clicked one and actually saw an insurance trick, only editorials on how the catastrophic claims requirement has created a culture of uninsured drivers, counterfeit tags, and all kinds of residency fraud to secure Ohio and Wisconsin license plates.

*-Michigan requires all cars to carry infinite medical liability coverage, so basic liability insurance here can cost 2-4 times more than full collision on the same car in most other states, so this kind of link is a real attention grabber for residents.
