[BUNK] Walkerville, MD – An FBI agent believed to be responsible for the latest email leaks “pertinent to the investigation” into Hillary Clinton’s private email server while she was Secretary of State, was found dead in an apparent murder-suicide early Saturday morning, according to police. https://archive.is/hkAgu[/BUNK]

The Denver Guardian is, according to the Denver Post's Eric Lubber, a fake newspaper.

Both the "Baltimore Gazette" and the "Denver Guardian" have the same 3 (and only 3) "obituaries".

Denver Guardian: http://denverguardian.com/category/obituaries/

The only part The Denver Post got wrong is they say
The domain denverguardian.com was first registered in July 2016 and is hosted by GoDaddy
Content from External Source
But there is a Wayback Machine entry for the website Nov 2015, although there is pretty much no content in November other than a gibberish "about" section and 2 very brief "blurbs" posted Nov 7, 2015. On Jan 7, 2016 they posted a brief blurb about a powerball winner. All written by "Let Texas Secede".

Their latest site version does have some content now (and advertising) ,but their about section says

WELCOMEABOUT US
Denver Guardian is Denver's oldest news source and one of the longest running daily newspapers published in the United States. With a focus on local content, the Guardian thrives to maintain a non-partisan newsroom making our content the most reliable source available in print and across the web. https://archive.is/hkAgu

But there is NO local content now and

the tags on the "non-partisan" article read:

The “Denver Guardian” is not a real news source and definitely isn’t Denver’s oldest news source http://www.denverpost.com/2016/11/05/there-is-no-such-thing-as-the-denver-guardian/

Today Justin Coler, who started the Denver Guardian site, was interviewed on MSNBC. He admitted that the story was totally fabricated (of course) and that he made about $8,000 from that one story alone. Then I found this article from a couple of weeks ago about NPR tracking him down and interviewing him. It's really interesting - worth a read.

We Tracked Down A Fake-News Creator In The Suburbs. Here's What We Learned
  • A lot of fake and misleading news stories were shared across social media during the election. One that got a lot of traffic had this headline: "FBI Agent Suspected In Hillary Email Leaks Found Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide." The story is completely false, but it was shared on Facebook over half a million times.

We wondered who was behind that story and why it was written. It appeared on a site that had the look and feel of a local newspaper. Denverguardian.com even had the local weather. But it had only one news story — the fake one./EX]
