Robot "Taking over the World" fail GIF:
The debate about unmanned aircraft just keeps droning on.
Pun Master Extraordinaire. ("air") was in that one word....do I get a cookie?
EDIT for the one below....(where the nets usually are located)...
The puns are found on the inter-net.....I couldn't catch them otherwise.
name that episode
"The Trouble With Tribbles"
Man, that was TOO easy!!!
(Or, is there some subtle hint that I missed??)
EDIT: Scotty: "Aye, they're in the food synthesizers, and in the air conditioning ducts as well!"
(HINT...I have now revealed my "uber"-nerd side....sigh)
One of the better "TOS" Season 2 episodes. The Season 2 "first" episode, "Amok Time", was brilliant:
ALSO to add...if anyone cares to know...that "TOS" episode, so popular as it was in "Star Trek" fandom was featured many years later, in a "Deep Space 9" episode:
(Might not be available to all areas of this planet, even with Internet access)....
I can go on and on...but perhaps this is not the thread??
Or, "debunk" MY humor? (Kidding...can't help it, sometimes)..
ah very good, if you pls your turn
i am also familiar with "Red Dwarf" LOL!!!!
Can't help being a huge Science Fiction fan. I guess. But, I always ask myself: "WWMD?"
(Hint...."WWMD" = What Would Mick Do?)
I amuse myself, too often...sorry, all!!
uumm...name the robot hand "Firefox"?
HERE is something "humorous" to "debunk"....(although, there might be a teeny, tiny element of truth in it??):
The opening credits for a long-awaited movie version of the novel "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by the (late) Douglas Adams. (A highly recommended, by ME, read!!)
But, enjoy, and find the satirical humor ('humour') in the song lyrics, as you see fit:
Taking my Mom in for some surgery tomorrow....so, need to "Sign Off" fr now.
we will 1st need to extract your earthman brain prepare & treat it to test your superposition
Is it bad that I actually prefer the BBC radio production or the BBC Television short to the Movie?
No, not at all. This opening credits sequence and song might be the best part of the movie!
surely you jest.
Don't know about lacking humour, I find the thought of MSN viewing Woody's observations of contrails hilarious
Things do work....all it takes is a little belief.
1023MB < gig. Took me a minute.
This would have been sorta funny if I'd posted it in the "Jews' thread that got deleted today.
Some real ingenuity, some real stupidity.
Sort of about debunking...if not, it's just bleedin' hilarious:
Pitch perfect. Now I'm sucked into the series.
Reminded me of something else that made me cry.
Shades of the "DaVinci Code" and also the "Illuminutty".....oops, that's "IllumiNot..." (I'll get it eventually): The "Illuminati" (Is that right? I think I got it, finally...):
New age woo generator
1) Complete using the names Lady GaGa and Katy Perry in second two
2) Troll Vigilant Citizen.
"Why can't anyone see that dylan avery is being spied on by usa ? It's all so that nsa, hidden in a secret HQ near newzealand can bring world civilisation to an end. After that, usa will pave the way for an alien invasion when the disorder caused by nsa reaches a peak. The only thing we can do is let wikileaks put together a militia to stop them.
Expect to be on their kill list by the morning...
WARNING: CONTAINS COLOURFUL LANGUAGE
There are not enough ratings categories for me to select to show my approval of this.
I don't condone violence, but I kinda wish this guy had gone the extra yard. Some may not think this particularly humorous but I do enjoy the "reporter's" squirming as more take notice (warning very strong language).....
.....and this is just delightful (it repeats, just watch the first 20 seconds)......
I thought IFLScience share this morning was funny, though not really related to debunking.
For those who don't want to click on link.
The caption read.
