Can this sort of picture-mining only be deliberate?
She could be getting them from people who've already picture-mined for chemtrail porn to use as link bait.

I reckon they come across these in their "research". If you Google words like atmospheric, aerosol, radiation, climate, chemicals, and so on, sooner or later you will stumble on to pages like that with some nice images that they imagine confirms the chemtrail story.

"Aerosol" is one word in particular that seems to generate a lot of excitement.
(Did you see what I did there? :p )

    from FB page: "Chemtrail World"

    (debunked here)(types of clouds)

The original image was sent-in to USA Today, by a reader.
    Source caption reads:

(EDIT)This same pic is now on Madison's page, where she titles it "CA chemtrails", (no source).
Interesting but not surprising, most everyone who "shared" her image....either just copied her post as is, or added their own interpretation/feelings of the pic.

The photographer could have given context to the shot, but chose not to do so, or Marciano has ripped off the video unattributed and withheld that information.

Ross, I see you commented on this aerodynamic contrail video:

Do you fellows think I have this one right as a Gulf Air??

    gulf air aero.

If you look at the pic, you can see just by the cloud shadows these are pretty low clouds taken from very high above.
    Folks just aren't very observant.....

....you know, this could become and endless thread.
It happens so often. I've found at least 50 unlabeled photos (lack of sources, links, or explanations for posting) in the last hour.
Madisonstar Moon is just one of maybe hundreds/thousands(?) of unlabeled photos on facebook.

Suggestion: Maybe we find the ones that introduce new or previously unseen images, and highlight those here. ?
Or not..............just my take on the thread.
    Carry on.

(EDIT) my guess is this thread serves partly as an outlet/relief valve, for our personal frustration of un-researched knee-jerk posts found all over FB. The question is....will anybody outside of Metabunk read these posts ? I would hope so.
If that is to happen, be sure to include in your posts....pertinent key words, so that search engines can file them near the top of search hit-returns.

That photo is of billow clouds caused by wind shear resulting is instability and undulations. When well developed you get Kelvin-Helmholtz instability cloud. This can occur at any altitude.
Cloud streets form from am completely different mechanism and occur in the cumulus level.

Looks more like Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to me. GA has full gold nose in front of the black band and gold and blue on the engine cowlings.

    I found a video of PIA B-777:

The focus gets right on at 0:25:

The date given for this is 7/23/13, over Suffolk, UK, no time given. Can this flight possibly be found on an archive like flightradar?

    (re: Chemtrail World...fb page)
It's not a joke (the people who "follow it" and reply there, don't think so).
That page is an example of how easy it is to begin (or continue) spreading "chemtrail" (or other) bunk.
    It's darn easy.

In avoidance of claiming "most chemtrail believers think bla, bla, bla (insert stereotype here)", I (hypocritically :D) feel most chemtrailers believe that it is perfectly OK to interpret undescribed photos to fit their personal views of the whole idea.......I think (from what I see) they welcome each other the opportunity to tailor and sculpt supplied information, photos, and science - to their personal satisfaction.
You'll rarely find any orthodox "Griffin" or "Wigington" followers, who magnetically stick-by these fellows' iron words, and fending-off all other ideas..... It just does not happen.

Of course the chemtrail evidence is not yet in.....so there 'ya go...it's a party of non-scientists brainstorming their brains out..

There is no cohesive/definitive stance. Interpretation is rampant, and almost encouraged.
How is interpretation encouraged ?.....(I'll write my ideas down further elsewhere), but suffice to say, it has to do with a group mentality (us, vs. them), and the feeling that when discussing the ideas amongst themselves, there is a certain comfort not normally allowed with many friends, co-workers, and family.

Chemtrailers do not usually debate or confront each others' wild ideas in a forum or Facebook setting; simply because....that is the space set aside for "non-ridicule". They get enough ridicule in the real-world if they voice their opinions.....and is why they ban all dissenters, or anyone who disagrees with their freedom to speak.

I'm pretty sure they don't debate each other's wild ideas at all - all I've ever seen is them accepting everything that anyone punts up, with very rare exceptions.

The reason they suppress contrary comments in public forums is exactly the same reason they don't engage in reasoned debate anywhere else - they don't like being told they are wrong (IMO)

.....and they create havens where it's ok to think out loud.....and not get criticized or questioned for any idea....even between each other.

    But I understand this.....
I was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous . In meetings, we were told to keep quiet when other people voiced their personal opinions, in a group share setting. Each person's opinion/feeling was as equally valid as yours.......and you (the listener) was not to judge another person.
What that meant, was that everyone's personal story and solution.....was unique, and each to their own -- but was part of a common goal amongst the whole group. How someone was getting to the goal was not as important or relative as......... you are now "at" the goal.
"Getting to the goal" was a personal journey. Celebrating at the goal, is a group-thing.....a group consciousness.

Any believers of a group-idea can do this......try to lock-out/block-out >>> all non-believers. Yes, it's censorship. It's use is historically repeated.

There are obvious self-interested benefits of isolation....it allows your view or the group's view to grow into "the only view", devoid of outside criticism.
....I'm getting too analytical. I'll stop here.

There are quite a few copies of that such as this one http://www.whale.to/m/disin.html reputed to be by H. Michael Sweeney.
In any thread on any conspiracy theory site, it's only a matter of time before someone quotes from one of those copies, or links to one.
    It's a bit like the Godwin's Law.

I've seen them go at it on Chemtrails Global Skywatch. Sometimes one will complain not all the cloud photos are geoengineerd. The went after Scott Stevens awhile ago.

I found this photo making the rounds, today.

    It's a VC10 K3, it was retired from service in 2013.

The original photo can be found here: http://www.airliners.net/photo/UK---Air/Vickers-VC10-K3/2325497/M/

These folks complaining about photos being removed by facebook would do well to learn a little about copyright laws.

    A French C-135FR Aircraft Multi-Point Refueling System (MPRS) Pod (A French KC-135R)

A: The turbine that drives the pod. Similar to the RAT (Ram Air Turbine) on the KC-10's WARP pods
B: Clearly just the exhaust nozzle of one of the KC-135's F108 engines

Does anyone have any idea how much money these people might be making from donations made to support their websites?
Tankerenemy says it has over a thousand members and there is a very obvious button on his page to make donations to support his work.

I'm sure we've had that one before, the mark in the bottom right rings a bell. Think I've tracked it down to a Polish spotter before.

the only site associated with it in search is that look up uk thing. and since he seems to be trying to show 'secret nozzles' right behind engines in his other pics, and based on the next pic he might be saying its a 777 (so not a fuel dump). my guess is photoshop? http://www.look-up.org.uk/
  40. WeedWhacker

    WeedWhacker Senior Member

Well, if he's saying it's a B777, then zero credibility, eh? Oh, and the Triple Seven can dump fuel (although, the image being discussed is not a fuel dump, of course).
