Witness 2's first orb (az ~22°, 35-45° up, ~19:00) crossed with witness 3's orb (az ~90°, ~45° up, ~19:00). Monte Carlo over the stated margins, both observers anywhere along the road: median ~9.5 km above the valley (80% between ~4 and ~16 km), 13-15 km from the witnesses, over the west flank of the Sheep Range; never under 4 km high nor under 6 km away. Altitude here is MSL (valley ~905 m + 9.4 km).

The only lit-mast site found to be (barely) visible from witness 2's assumed position: az 153°, 62 km, 0.15° up, 0.10° above the intervening terrain (Copernicus 90 m DEM, k = 0.13). Weak candidate for the red lights "above the southern horizon" 19:30-23:00 (would be faint, flashing, SSE rather than S). Mount Potosi masts and Strip towers are hidden by terrain.
